TRANSCREATION

In a few words, the word transcreation refers to creative translation. This is because the content is not translated word for word, but within a context that is relevant and coherent for a group of individuals who are inserted in a certain place and who use a particular variant of Spanish or English. The challenge of transcreation is that the message speaks to two people – of different languages or dialectal varieties of the language – in the same way, by adapting the language or by eliding or adding words that are unnecessary in the target language. For this reason, although electronic translators are efficient for word-for-word translation, they are inefficient when adapting the message to the final recipient and the geographical location in which it is located.

At SELTIS we do not only have bilingual people, but also professional linguists and translators with extensive training and experience in the field of translation adapted to the user and the context. This will allow you to adapt your message both to the language to be translated and to the particular population you want to address.
